I tried to uninstall WP Super Cache and it’s crashed my site with a fatal error while deleting its files and data.

This is what displays on when I try and open a page on my site now.

define('WP_CACHE', true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager //Added by WP-Cache Manager //Added by WP-Cache Manager define( 'WPCACHEHOME', '/home/whitein1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/' ); //Added by WP-Cache Manager define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M'); /** * The base configurations of the WordPress. * * This file has the following configurations: MySQL settings, Table Prefix, * Secret Keys, WordPress Language, and ABSPATH. This was the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function nocache_headers() in /home/whitein1/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 32

How can it be fixed? Please help!

  • Edit your wp-config.php – you’ll see the define command in there. There’s probably a missing <?php or ?> tag.

Yes, thank you so much! I just checked and it was missing. The <?php was missing at the top.

I really appreciate your fast reply to this. It solved the problem.

I tried uninstalling this app and my website crashed with a Fatal Error message. Looks like its showing all the details which are not supposed to be shown.. urgent help pls..

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/content/49/10776749/html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

Don’t want to paste the entire content.

More error details on my home page: http://howtotechguru.com

Fixed it on my own.. it took 2.5 hours.. All that I did was.. renamed my plugins folder to plugins_old to disable all plugins.
that did not work .. so I created a new wp-config.php with just the basic settings and values.. I could recover it back..
    Thanks All..
