    Hi,

Hoping you can help. We have built a new site and I moved our old site where Malcare is installed into a sub directory.

Now I am getting the error below and the site wont load. I have updated the paths in the file it mentions but it still shows the error. How can I get the site back online please?

[29-Sep-2021 07:44:34 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/wwwcommunitysupp/public_html/malcare-waf.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php72/usr/share/pear’) in Unknown on line 0

    Hey!

    Thank you for your message.

This is occurring because the malcare-waf.php file is being called in the php.ini file. But since you have moved the file away, the file is not being found.

Can you please check the php.ini file & remove the malcare-waf.php file require? That should fix the issue you’re facing.

    Thank you,
    Aman Kedia

Thanks for the reply. In the end I had to remove the reference to the file in htaccess to get the site to load. We wont be using your plugin on this site, nothing wrong with it. We are just shutting this site down.
