Have you contacted “David from layers” about this? We don’t know who that is, but it sounds like he caused the problem and should therefore fix it.

Meanwhile, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the the /apollo/ directory to something else, like /apollo-broken/

This will force the default theme to activate so you can use your site again.

I’m with hostgator, I’m trying to find where I would go to see the file manager and CPanel I think is changed now to this Customer Portal, the thing im looking at, but i cant find any file manager.
I have Filezilla, but have never been able to figure out how to get past the server administrator thing where it asks for a Host or IP(not sure where that is or if it means my computer IP or what), a port(not sure where to find that either) and a password.
Everything i’ve tried it says connecting to website, and then either failed to connect or something like that. 🙁 This is very very hard.
Thank you for helping me im trying to follow what you said im just not sure how, thank you for the help.

You’ll need to check with HostGator’s documentation or support about that. The last time I was there, it was simply a module in cPanel called “File Manager,” but that was years ago.

That will be covered in HostGator’s documentation for sure, but you might need to contact their support for specifics.

Most hosts operate differently, so all we can really offer from this end are generalizations. You’ll need to check with your host’s documentation or support department for specifics.

Yep, that’s the basic of it. They might even be able to do that for you if you get them on live chat. Feel free to direct them to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-after-installing-launchpad-pre-launch-landing-page?replies=5&view=all#post-8594825
