# Fatal error after install

    Yesterday my friend installed plugin Holler Box on his site, and site is
   down. He can’t get into the admin panel. Getting the following error: Fatal error:
   Can’t use function return value in write context in /…/wp-content/plugins/holler-
   box/includes/class-holler-functions.php on line 546
 * Tell me please how to fix it and why this could happen?

 * Hi, this is due to using a really old version of PHP on your server. I’d highly
   recommend updating to at least PHP 5.6.
 * I also pushed an update to the plugin that should fix this error, you can download
   it from Github here: [https://github.com/scottopolis/holler-box/archive/master.zip](https://github.com/scottopolis/holler-box/archive/master.zip)
 * Let me know if that fixes it.
