Fatal Error after failed update to 3.3.2

  • Hi Guys,

My site is now not working at all. I clicked on the automatic update button and it started the update. It then cam up with a warning like – Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in {blog header I think}.

I then searched around and found it may be an issue with the wp-config file so I made a new one by editing a standard one with my db names and passwords etc and generating new unique phrases with the salt link. I uploaded it in place of the old one and now I get a different error:- Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_check_php_mysql_versions() in /home/subbysaf/public_html/wp-load.php on line 49

I have no idea what is going on as I am not clued up on the tech side of all this. I can’t see how an automatic update would destroy the site so easily!

Can anyone help or give me an idea where to start? I’d really appreciate it as I’m in way over my head now and the site is effectively gone!

    Many thanks

    Ross T
