    Hello, dear support team,

I am getting a fatal error after the upgrade of WP 5.6 version (pic https://snipboard.io/2wi7QT.jpg).
The error appears next to the uploaded images, that where uploaded in a bulk together with products by CSV import plug-in from a CSV file. I have tried to restore my website to an older WP version 5.5.3 and there is no fatal error after the same product batch import and I can confirm that I do not recall any similar errors before this update. Also on v 5.6 when you upload one photo manually by hand there is no fatal error too.
Tried to perform an import on v 5.6 with all plung-ins off (except CSV import plug-in of course) and got the same fatal error.
The product import process itself it’s result seams to word as it should, except this fatal error next to the image in the Media section, where the info of an image once was.
    Could you please help me?

    Side note to @pxetar ,

Please do not jump into other topics and detract from their problem. If the troubleshooting already posted made no difference for you, then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. A lot more people will see your post, and that way you stand a good chance of getting the assistance you want. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.

    I’ll be archiving your post.

We have the same problem. Did you solve the problem

The error appears only appears when images are being opened while the media library is set to “list” view. After going back to “grid” view, the images can be opened without getting the error in the pane on the right.

Found the culprit. It happend when image lacks author.

    Glad its sorted 🙂

Excuse me, how to solve the problem by adding the author after importing?
Thank you for providing this information

I found a plugin that can add authors in batches, you can try this, it’s very convenient

I can confirm that it was the case. But after solving this and performing the same import, I started to receive these PHP Fatal errors:

Can anyone relate to this issue?

I can vouch for the Author solution and for the plugin suggested by @soga172 which I installed, performed the operation I had to and then uninstalled.

    Thanks!
