    Hello,

I just installed your plugin and tried to activate it, when I got this error message:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
This plugin requires the bz2 PHP extension to function correctly.”

I don’t know what that means and what I need to do to get this fixed.
    Please, help.
    Thank you!!

    Thanks for the response!

I just tried again and still got the same error. 🙁

Go to the folder /my-wp-backup/src/Install/Activate.php and remove bz2, I believe from line 42. You can change it from the dashboard under the plugin editor.

When you update the plugin it will re-add it.

Had the same issue but didn’t feel like installing bz2, your host should be able to install it for you.
