Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. I’ve tried the latest 8.2 php version, and lower ones, on Cloudways. I’ve set various ram settings from 256 to 800. Same error. No support on free version, so I have to vote down.

UD: Changed to 5-stars. After removing all the related entries and tables from the database, I was able to install and activate without issue. Great plugin!

    Hi, @vinewoodstudios_admin.

I’m sorry to hear about your website having a fatal error after attempting to activate WP Mail SMTP.

That’s not an expected experience and I think there was something else going on, causing issues.

We would like to help you out with debugging what is causing this issue for you. You can use the WP Mail SMTP support forum where we provide limited complimentary support. That would be the ideal location to share details about this issue: your WordPress error logs. This will give us an idea of what might be going on.

Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon.
