  • I used the code from the pull request and it caused a fatal error on the site, different to the initial error. Are the program creator’s still working on this?

@sbimarketing what error exactly do you get? Can you provide more details?

@sbimarketing a new version is released.

Hi, any update on getting this fix released? Still have same fatal error.

@meir321 what version exactly of the plugin do you currently use?

I tried enabling the plugin and now I’m getting:

Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to WordPress.org. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/customer/www/website.com/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 183

The same version as before. I wanted to enable to try updating but now I can’t download or do anything even after deleting the plugin.

Did you tried to delete the plugin, download the latest version, install it and activate it?

@meir321 the issue you have posted seems to the WordPress core. What WordPress Version do you currently use?

    Thread Starter meir321

    (@meir321)

    6.1.1.

I am unable to install anything since the downloader became corrupted. It happened after I enabled back the plugin to try to update it.

Can you try to install WordPress again? From the distance it seems that the issue is not related to the plugin.

Ok thanks, I think I’ll reach out to hosting support.
