    Hi,

    I’ve got this fatal error:
[24-May-2019 23:04:21 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 65536 bytes) in ***/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/sync/class.jetpack-sync-json-deflate-array-codec.php on line 17

    what does this mean?

    Hi there,

That error means your site is hitting PHP memory limits on your server when trying to perform certain tasks. In this case, it looks like Jetpack’s Sync feature that’s hitting that limit which, based on that error, is currently around 100MB

The fix for this is to increase the memory limit for your site. See the Allowed memory size exhausted in this support page for more info.

You might be able to do this yourself by modifying your wp-config.php file (see this doc), or else you’ll need to contact your hosting provider for help with this.
