I deactivated the plugin because I was blocked from accessing wp-admin or any dashboard functions after the attempted update. Still can’t get to wp-admin. Please Help. Thank you.

sorry – using Lilaea Media v2 Child Theme Configurator

    (@lilaeamedia)

This has nothing to do with Child Theme Configurator.

A function is being defined twice in during the program execution, possibly inside another theme or plugin.

If you can access your files via FTP, navigate to the themes folder and rename each of the themes except for twenty-sixteen ( adding an underscore works well. ) This will force WordPress to revert to the default theme and you should get your access back.

Once you have restored WordPress, use a text search to locate where the post_form_autocomplete_off() function is being called. More than likely it is in a theme’s functions.php or included file.

Thank you for replying, Lilaea. I will attempt to follow your instructions, but it’s the update to the CTC that won’t install. The theme I am using is Nirvana by Cryout Serious Theme. At least the non-admin site still works, and as a non-pro, I hesitate to make changes that could result in further breaks.

    Hi, Guys,
I’ve moved to a new theme. I am the vote for “broken” and i’d like to remove it but neither do i want to say that the configuration plugin is compatible because i’m not using it anymore. Am I able to remove my vote?

You cannot change your vote, but the stats will reset as soon as a new version is released.
