Fatal error?

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_called_class() in /home/content/58/9085658/html/wp-content/plugins/vr-calendar-sync/Includes/Classes/Abstract/Singleton/VRCSingleton.class.php on line 26

    What could cause this? I have it working fine on a similar site on Godaddy (both sites)
