 * I created a custom taxonomy. Immediately after, the following error message appeared:
 * Fatal error: Call to a member function add_rewrite_tag() on a non-object in /
   home/content/a2pnexwpnas01_data02/21/3326321/html/wp-includes/rewrite.php on
   line 172
 * Please help me resolve.

 * I installed the “Custom Taxonomy” widget and attempted to create a custom blog
   post-type called “Region.” I have used this widget on a previous site with great
   success, but this time it is somehow interfering with the theme or code somehow.

 * There is this plugin called “Custom Taxonomies Menu Widget”. Is this the one
   you are using?
    If so, I recommend asking in this dedicated support sub-forum
   for better results so its developers and users can help you with this: [http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/custom-taxonomies-menu-widget](http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/custom-taxonomies-menu-widget)

 * I believe it’s “Simple Taxonomy.” [https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-taxonomy/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-taxonomy/)
 * I can no longer access my site because of this error, so I can’t uninstall the
   plugin or view the details. Is there a way for a WP admin to access and remove
   the plugin?

 * Please give it a read and see if that helps.

 * Have you noticed that plugin has NOT been updated for over 3 years!!
 * There is a good chance it’s not compatible with 4.5.2.
 * Therefore, I recommend find an another plugin.
