 * When I clicked to upgrade to 4.4 I got this message.
    What does all that mean?
 * Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_the_post_thumbnail_url() (previously declared
   in /home/content/85/10110185/html/wp-includes/post-thumbnail-template.php:190)
   in /home/content/85/10110185/html/wp-content/themes/sliding-door/functions.php
   on line 217

 * It would seem its a theme issue.

    …….but that’s all Greek to me. On my wordpress.com account
   it says “this site cannot be accessed”. Where do I go from here? Thanks.

 * Try **MANUALLY** updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to
   your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders **EXCEPT
   the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory.** You may need to delete
   the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading
   the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first.
    –**Backup: If you haven’t
   already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing
   any actions, just in case something really goes wrong.**

 * WordPress 4.4 broke the theme.
 * There is a fix for this here:
 * [http://mac-host.com/slidingdoor/sliding-door3-2.zip](http://mac-host.com/slidingdoor/sliding-door3-2.zip)
 * It should come live on wordpress.org soon.
 * BUT YOU NEED TO UPGRADE TO THE LATEST THEME BEFORE YOU UPGRADE TO WORDPRESS 4.4
   OR IT WILL GIVE A BLANK PAGE.
