# FATAL ERROR

 * Problem – after reading what this guy answered to my question: [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/365290?replies=1#post-1398786](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/365290?replies=1#post-1398786),
   I went to Site Admin -> Blogs and then fiddles around with some stuff (mainly
   URL addresses) and now I get FATAL ERROR when I try to go to: [http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net/blog/](http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net/blog/)–
   What do I need to change to get my blog up and running again?
 * I think these are the ones that I have changed:
    Path: //blog/ Siteurl: [http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net//blog/](http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net//blog/)
   Permalink Structure: blog//%postname%/ Home: [http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net//blog/](http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net//blog/)
   Category Base: /blog/http:/www.thewebsiteofdaniel.net/blog/technology/ Fileupload
   Url: [http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net//blog/files](http://thewebsiteofdaniel.net//blog/files)
 * If you could give the default values for the fields that I’ve change, that would
   be great 🙂

 * well…if you changed the url of your site through settings….that’s not the way
   to do it…. you’d have to change back to original:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL](http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL)
   That should get you back in
 * Then if you want to move WP to a new folder or whatever to change the url:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress)

 * I didn’t tell you to do all that
    I said your permalinks were whacked – not site
   url’s why do you have double slashes before”blog”? `Siteurl: http://thewebsiteofdaniel.
   net//blog/`
 * also, as pointed out, you are using an incorrect permalink structure
    `Permalink
   Structure: blog//%postname%/` the //blog does not go in there and will never 
   work same for category base
 * as rvoodoo points out, now you will have to fix that stuff back
 * also, in the other thread I gave you a link for correct permalinks – use it
