# Fatal Error

 * I ran into another fatal error while trying to update my website:
    “Fatal error:
   Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object in /home/content/
   n3pnexwpnas01_data02/34/3566434/html/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 355”.
   can someone tell me what this is and how to fix it plssssss.

 * Try **MANUALLY** updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to
   your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders **EXCEPT
   the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory.** You may need to delete
   the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading
   the new ones. Please read the [Manual Update](http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update)
   directions first.
