Keep in mind that this plugin is free and you do not have to use it. The author is providing this plugin and support on their own time. * Thread Starter [R.Krasner](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rkrasner-1/) * (@rkrasner-1) * [11 years, 12 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-1143/#post-4810370) * I did calmly create one topic, but the author chose to treat me as if I knew what he was talking about, and as if I was a fellow developer, which I am not. * I do not know HTML, I do not code software, so to expect me to fix a problem that is beyond my understanding is like expecting me to perform brain surgery. * Mr. Wells’ attitude is that he is not responsible if HIS software is unable to work with other WP software, and it is our responsibility to fix HIS mistakes. * You and Mr. Wells must keep in mind that not all users are as smart as you are, so it is your responsibility to answer us with respect and treat us as such, and not like one of your peers. * I tried to use a different landing page plugin, but that costs money. Mr. Wells wanted me to do something that I have no right to do, because I am working on someone else’s website. That person has allowed me access to the site because we are putting together a business opportunity. But the attitude of Mr. Wells is preventing me from creating a landing page for the opportunity my partner and I are working on, and that is why I am trying to get this problem resolved ASAP. * Telling me that this is free and that I don’t have to use it is a cop-out…I have to use it because it is the only one here that does not require spending money that we don’t have at the moment. You apparently have a technical problem and that requires a technical solution. There’s no warranty for any of the software here and posting 40+ times the same thing is considered abusive. Those duplicates were deleted. Please stick to one topic and stop posting the same errors over and over again. That behavior is not tolerated here. * You’re a plugin user. You are not the plugin author’s customer and the author does not owe you anything. If this plugin doesn’t work for you then I sincerely recommend that you consider another solution. Demanding that the author fix it for you ASAP wont inspire anyone to help you out. * If you want to work with the author to resolve your problem then please do.
