Fata error with Kirki plugin Call to undefined method WP_Customize_Manager

    Hello,

    I recently bought a theme that requires your plugin and when I try to access the Customize section in Appereance i receive thie error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Customize_Manager::register_section_type() in /home/andreeas/public_html/doualocuri.ro/wp-content/plugins/kirki/includes/class-kirki-init.php on line 92

    Hey there!

    That method is part of WordPress Core and was added in version 4.3.0.
    Can you please make sure that your WordPress installation is up to date and you’re using the latest version of WordPress and all your plugins?

    Hello @aristath,

    I found same error includes/class-kirki-init.php on line 92 in my wordpress version 4.1.13

    So As a developer i want to used in client theme but his not required to update wordpress for this situation how can i solve or i am not used kirki plugin ?.

    I’m afraid not.
    The plugin clearly states that it requires WordPress 4.4 or above and is therefore not compatible with older versions.
