@rushu25,
What version did you upgrade from?
I don’t recollect which version it was prior to the upgrade. I believe I’ve updated after 6 months.
@rushu25,
I’ve found a small glitch in the upgrade class and applied a fix, try this version of the code for that file:
http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/subscribe2/trunk/classes/class-s2-upgrade.php
Dint work.. Gives error on line 126:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method s2class_upgrade::upgrade100() in /home/content/09/9340609/html/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/classes/class-s2-core.php on line 126
No luck. When I change the code in core class, my site crashes!
@rushu25,
Revert to the previous core class then. The edit the new upgrade class file and change the name if the last function from upgrade95 to upgrade100.
The error code no longer appears. Thanks!
But I tried publishing a new post to test whether subscribe2 works and now I get “500 Internal Server Error”
The post is published on the site but none of the subscribers have received notification for it.
I deactivated the plugin and posted it again and I didn’t receive any error.
@rushu25,
500 Internal Server errors are pretty unhelpful for bug hunting – all they tell you is that something went wrong. Try accessing the server logs or speak with your hosting provider to get a more detailed reason behind this issue.
In the meantime you could try downgrading to an older version, based on where the upgrade code went wrong I would suggest trying version 6.5. You can access all older versions here:
