Faster response but more data

Did not really work for me with non-premium version and the suggested installation steps. The time to first byte decreased (to about 100 ms) and most content was served earlier, but the other CSS and JS requests were not eliminated, so there was an increase in number of requests and total data downloaded.

Compare before and after.

Update: to be clear, I have the BeTheme theme and multiple plugins which might be interfering (Broken Link Checker, Contact Form 7, Contact Form DB, Duplicate Post, EU Cookie Law, Force Regenerate Thumbnails, Importatore WordPress, RawR (Raw Revisited) for WordPress, Recent Tweets Widget, Redirection, Revolution Slider, Search Regex, Wiki Embed, WP-SpamShield, Yoast SEO).
