Fast, clean WebP conversion — works great with WooCommerce & LiteSpeed

Installed this on a WooCommerce store with a few thousand product images. Bulk conversion ran fast and smooth, no timeouts or errors. Encoder detection worked correctly (picked up Imagick automatically) and the “Serve WebP in HTML” option swapped image URLs properly in srcset without breaking anything.

Went through the plugin’s own PHP code before installing since it’s a newer listing with few reviews — everything is clean, no external calls, no telemetry, just local GD/Imagick conversion like the description says. Nonces and capability checks are all in place on the AJAX endpoints too.

Combined with LiteSpeed Cache’s WebP vary rule, delivery works as expected once you purge cache after a bulk run. No conflicts with other image plugins on the site once I made sure only one plugin handles WebP at a time.

Solid, well-built plugin that does exactly what it promises. Recommended.
