# FAQ – Random Widget – Posts aren't Random

 * When using the FAQ Random Widget, posts are not random when loading on new pages,
   it always shows the same post.

 * it is using the ‘rand’ orderby in the WP query logic. your site may be caching
   the response or otherwise holding the value.
 * however, I noticed all your FAQs have the same date, so there may be a bug in
   the logic. I’ll run that test to see and if so, I’ll fix it.
