    Hi,

    I’m using “Share This Image” plugin on my website but it is somehow not compatible with fancyBox3 (fancyBox 3 for WordPress). Transition effects between images are not working properly in lightbox. Can you help me with this?

    Hi,

    You have this problem with WordPress galleries or and for single images too?
    Is it possible to give me the link where I can find this issue?

    Regards

    Hi,

    Next to the pictures in my wordpress gallery there are share icons. The gallery is opened with “fancybox 3 for wordpress” plugin. This plugin isn’t working properly with other fancybox plugins, it looks like there is some kind of “conflict”, they are not compatible, e.g. transition effects between images aren’t working – the gallery opens but the transition effects (example – slide) are somehow blocked.

    Could I send you a link on your private email?

    One more question. Is it possible to use this plugin to share images in a gallery (e.g. facebook), but in a way that after clicking the shared link on facebook, a particular image will open in lightbox not in the gallery subpage?

    Thanks

    Gallery – transition effects between images aren’t working (with your plugin)

    Hi,

    Well I see transition there. But there is other issue – sharing buttons overlap gallery image. To fix this issue please use style

    .sti {
        z-index: 9 !important;
    }

    Hi,

    No, it’s not about that:) Yes, there is transition between images but the very transition effect is blocked e.g. “slide”, “zoom”, “fade” etc. When the “share this image” plugin is off, the effects in fancybox are still working.

    As I understand you set ‘Always show?’ plugin option to ‘On’.
    Can you please try to disable it and tell me will this solve the issue?

    Regards

    Yes, the always show option is on. When I turn it off, nothing changes.

    I think I know what might be wrong. When I turn on fancybox in “sti.js” file, the transition effects on my site work properly. But I’d have to change it manually every time I upgrade the plugin. Are there any other solutions?

    Hi,

    What you mean by

    turn on fancybox in “sti.js”

    Do you add some custom js code to sti.js file? In this case please show its to me.

    Regards

    Hi,

    No, I don’t add any code to this file.

    I’m just trying to find the reason why the plugin is blocking the transition effects in fancybox.

    It’s about this part:

    $(window).on(‘load’, function() {
    try {
    $(“.fancybox, .fancy-gallery, [data-fancybox]”).fancybox({

    I’ve noticed that the effects are not working when I change from “on” to “off” in this part of code. I think this is the thing that is blocking the effects.

    So, if you try to remove code

    $(window).on('load', function() {
    		try {
    			$(".fancybox, .fancy-gallery, [data-fancybox]").fancybox({
    				afterShow: function(){
    					$(selector).sti();
    				},
    				onComplete: function(){
    				}
    			});
    		}
    		catch(error) {}
    	});

    from sti.js file this will bring transition effects back?

    Regards

    Yes, if I remove the part of code that is related to fancybox, the transition effects start to work properly.

    But I’d have to change it manually every time I upgrade the plugin?

    For now just remove this code.
    In the new plugin version I will remove it or modify so its won’t break effects again.

    Regards
