hi, first of all, great plugin. i’m using fancy-box with inline text. is it possible to change the image with a:visited so people can clearly see which images they clicked on already?
i tried using a:visited but with no luck but the a:hover is working just fine.
if you have any other suggestions on how to achieve the same thing i’ll be more than happy to hear
    thanks

  • I think it’s not possible because the script actually catches the href location before it is passed to the browser. The browser does not get to handle that location in the normal way and so it has no idea it should apply the :visited rule.

I see no way around that…

ok, thank you for your reply

You can try a:active which should at least change the appearance of the link right after a click so the user knows which link was clicked last. But I suppose the change will not stick after the next link is clicked…

I’ll consider this as a feature request. It might be possible to add some script to attribute an extra class (like “visited”) to a visited fancybox link. That would make styling visited links easier.

However, these styles would not stick after a page refresh so it will still not be the same as a:visited
