I got similiar issue.
on the front end it shows error “Param height must be a number”
I didn’t change anything and it just stopped working.
I haven’t got any errors, it just dosen’t load. Weird, cause nothing have been done at the site for a while. I have tried out some other plugins, and they work fine, but they don’t look as good as this one…..
I just discovered this as well, and it’s rather unfortunate.
The widget from the Facebook Members plugin provides almost the same look and feel, although it currently does not quite as much control of color, which makes text a little difficult to read with a dark background. Otherwise it works well.
Same here – no errors, just stopped working yesterday.

Hi. I’m using this plugin in more than one site. It worked until yesterday and then it stopped without doing nothing new. It shows error “Param height must be a number”. I read Facebook changed something, as usual, so I would like to know if this nice plugin will be updated, as it is not from one year, or I would change plugin at all if the author doesn’t work on it anymore. Thank you.

I have replaced this plugin with the Facebook members plugin, and it works fine and look pretty much the same. It was a bit more complicated to configure, but nothing unmanageable. This is how it looks: http://slashhelpdesk.no/it-reglement/
Still hope the Facebook fanbox plugin will be updated, though… 🙂

Stopped working for me as well 🙁 Like everyone above I’d touched nothing on the site.
Here is the fix:
Open file: \wp-content\plugins\facebook-fanbox-with-css-support\facebook-fanbox-with-css-support.php
Replace all with this: http://pastie.org/7142439#308
Note: Line 308 is an application ID. You need to create a Facebook App just to run the fanbox using this method.
To do that, create an App here: https://developers.facebook.com/apps
Fill in the information, when editing the app under “Basic” settings, click “Website with Facebook Login” and put in your URL. Once you do that, fill in your URL at the “App Domains” field.
Then copy/paste your newly created Facebook app’s ID into line 308 of the code I provided.
