Famous 5 points install !! Error 500

Hi there,

When finally I succeed to launch “install.php” but I received an “error 500” !!
WHY (I was crying 😉 )

I follow exactly the guide … so I didn’t understand.

After a couple of hours I found the trick.!!
STEP 3 in the guide is not clear.

<<< Step 3: Set up wp-config.php
You can either create and edit the wp-config.php file yourself, or you can skip this step and let WordPress try to do this itself when you run the installation script (step 5) (you’ll still need to tell WordPress your database information)>>>

No no no … you can’t let WordPress try to do it!
You have to edit wp-config.php ang give your DB info!
In the french guide it written in that way.
Step 3: rename wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php
Step 4: edit file and give the DB info !!!

Hope this can help other people.
