    Dear Autoptimize,
    I’ve received an email from my hosting provider stating that they caught a malvare during last scan.
    Now i’m not an expert and I do apologize in advance if the issue is not related with Autoptimize.
    The email stated as follow:

    {CAV}Html.Exploit.CVE_2016_7217-1 : /home/vj7kt652/public_html/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_d232929ee2e55d71cd00e3f6693e0a9c.js => /usr/local/maldetect/quarantine/autoptimize_d232929ee2e55d71cd00e3f6693e0a9c.js.2246922646
    Linux Malware Detect v1.6.3 < >

    Because the directory of Autoptimize was mentioned I tought you wanted to know.
    Is There a possibility of a false positive?

    Again sorry if it is not related to you and I let me express my satisfaction with the plugin.

    Keep-up the good work

    wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_d232929ee2e55d71cd00e3f6693e0a9c.js is the optimized version of the combination of your site’s original JS Angelo, so 2 possibilities;

    1. one of your site’s origin JS-files is infected
    2. or this indeed is a false positive

    My gut feeling and my experience tell me this is most likely to be a false positive though 🙂

    Have a nice Sunday!
