Hey, does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about setting up a fallback for image galleries that use JavaScript?
I imagine we would need to identify if the user has JavaScript enabled, and then a link to a different page that has a no-JavaScript lightbox installed with the same images. Thanks in advance.

Can’t you just put a <noscript> block in the same page?

Well there you go. I had no idea what that was until now. That’s the benefit of surrounding yourself with people smarter than you.
I just looked it up and will do more research, but I use several galleries on my pages (it’s a webcomic-type site). I guess I’d have to add the same images in the editor, down below the galleries, and position them with CSS?

You should use a gallery that works whether there is javascript or not.

Zing! Yes, that would be the easiest solution, but that’s not why I use the wonderous WordPress. I like that you can customize the platform to do what you like. Besides, I disdain most lightboxes. I think most look unfinished, or have poor aesthetic balance.
