I use Wordfence/Falcon in several sites and I am very happy with it: it makes managing caches very easy. I have not tried it in large volume sites, but for my needs is excellent.

But then I have this site with several entries a day: when I publish posts that are supposed to be excluded from the caching mechanism, all the cache gets cleared anyway.

The posts don’t impact on menus, categories, etc, but even so every day I start with a blank cache, which it shouldn’t be, it negates the concept of caching altogether.

Anything I can do to mitigate the problem?

So you’re saying that Falcon is clearing the cache too often, is that correct?

No, what I am saying is that it is clearing the cache also when I have asked it not to cache a group of posts, in this particular case, the filter is

If the URL starts with : /category/mundo/ then don’t cache it

As I said, it works great on my other sites but on this one I start every day with a completely empty cache because I add a bunch of posts that match the filter.

    thanks for the reply
