Fake users are registered through the form

    After updating the plugin s2member to the version 200301 + s2Member Pro v200301 on the site, many fake lakes like this one started to be registered https://prnt.sc/106pdqa
    The page uses a s2member form.
    How to fix it?

    Hi Jul.

    Do you have registrations open on wp-login.php? Is this setting disabled or enabled? WP Admin > s2Member > General Options > Open Registration

    Did you enable recaptcha for the pro-form? WP Admin > s2Member > General > Captcha

    Yes, the captcha is already enabled.
    For it to work, I need to add an attribute to the form captcha=”1″
    Do I understand correctly?

    Right, you need to enable captcha from the shortcode, but to enable it’s not “1”, it’d be captcha="light". From the documentation for that attribute: WP Admin > s2Member > PayPal Forms > Shortcode Attributes

    captcha="" if you supplied reCaptcha v2 keys in your s2Member General Options (i.e., you are using reCaptcha v2), this must be light or dark.
