 * Sorry, you cannot activate the Genesis Widgetized Footer plugin unless you have
   installed the Genesis Framework.
 * To get Genesis Framework we need to register in your website.
    Stop putting fake
   staff here and cheating people.

    Thanks for your feedback! I am sorry to hear this. However, it’s clearly
   stated on more than one place in plugin header and description here on WordPress.
   org this: “Please note: The plugin requires the Genesis Theme Framework.”
 * –> This plugin uses special functions from Genesis Framework and therefore can
   only work with it. It’s useless otherwise. Always read the description and installation
   advises before.
 * The message you were getting is just the “last” note for users, as otherwise –
   if this activation hook would be not there – it would lead to more harming errors.
   And this should just be avoided therefore you saw the message you just quoted
   above.
 * There’s no fake anywhere with this plugin – it has more than 15,000 downloads
   and thousands of happy & satisfied users!
 * Please don’t write such “reviews” if you didn’t use the plugin – this is not 
   helpful for any other users as well as not for us developers.
 * I would be happy if you could correct your “review” here or maybe change this
   to a support request. Use the plugin’s support forum here: [http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/genesis-widgetized-footer](http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/genesis-widgetized-footer)
 * And, Genesis Framework can only be bought via [http://StudioPress.com](http://StudioPress.com)
   website. My own websites don’t allow any registrations 🙂
 * If you don’t use Genesis then you not need this plugin. I hope you’ll then will
   find your needed solutions anywhere else. In any case I would be more than happy
   to help you find a working solution for footer customization.

   or moderate such posts. We’re on the grace of general forum moderators – if they
   come across such posts and think there is anything wrong…
