    Just tried to connect my site to piwik using this plugin and I get the following error message

    WP-Piwik 1.0.19 was not able to connect to Piwik using your configuration. During connection the following error occured:
    Failure when receiving data from the peer

    Have checked all the settings and all seem to be correct, what next?

    1. Run the test script to get more detailed information on your issue. See FAQ: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-piwik/#faq

    2. If I google the error message (Failure when receiving data from the peer), I get several pages mentioning proxy blocking. Maybe connections to localhost/127.0.0.1 are blocked by your server configurations?
