Failure to connect to server via FTP

First time installing WP, and getting stuck at uploading files via FTP clients…
I cannot connect to the server with FileZilla. ftp host name, user name and password are all correct. I get 2 simple error messages of “cannot connect to server” when I import information via xml, or “connection timed out” when I try to put the information in the Quickconnect bar.

My web host is HostZilla, and I’m unsure of any other way to upload the WP files.

This is the last step before I’m able to complete the “Famous 5 minute install”

I’m a novice attempting to start up my own website, and haven’t attempted anything like this before — I’d appreciate any help you can offer!
