Failure notice when attempting to upload theme

  • My wordpress.org website (www.eclecdeco.com) is hosted on BLUEHOST. I purchased Goodlayers MODERNIZE theme on THEMEFOREST. I am attempting to replace the default theme (twenty eleven) with the MODERNIZE theme which I uploaded to my computer in zip format . I used the INSTALL button via APPEARENCE-THEMES on my website dashboard. It doesn’t work and returns a message saying ‘do you really want to do this – please try again’. I don’t know why this is and don’t know how to resolve this. Can anyone help ? I have no technical knowledge.

    You really NEED to communicate WITH the AUTHOR that sold you that theme for INSTRUCTIONS.

    Sorry, I really could not resist. The capitalization was just too tempting. 😀

    In all seriousness, that commercial theme should have also included some instructions for how to successfully upload that theme to your installation. Try their support forum instead.

    Well why don’t you ask directly to them? As they are selling something, they are much more likely to provide the support that you need.
    I personally never heard of this theme, and so do I believe the most of the people here. Correct me if I’m wrong.
