• pros – I like the backend builder, simple exactly what I’m after.
cons – front end, simple contact form won’t send if javascript disabled. This is an accessibility concern. So many forms are heavily java script dependant. And sure for complex forms I understand. But for simple contact forms it shouldn’t be dependant on java-script at all. So far the only one that hasn’t failed this test for me is contact form 7, but the form builder there isn’t so user friendly

    Hi @mttindustries-1,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!

WPForms does use JavaScript extensively for helpful features such as spam prevention and input validation (for instance, checking if a required field is filled).

If you’d like for users to be able to submit forms without JavaScript enabled in the browser, you can go the form builder > Settings > General to deselect the Enable anti-spam protection option. However, users will still see a notice to enable JavaScript in their browsers in order to complete the form.

If you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to create a post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Thank you!
