Hi, since the latest version of the plugin, there is a problem when using the “Upload file” button from the local disk.

The new version saves files to the path “…/dlm_uploads/[year]/[month]/” and this writes an error: “Failed to write the file at: … /wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2022/03/test.pdf”. In the previous version, the files were stored in root the /dlm_uploads/ directory. The problem will be in creating new directories. If I created via FTP directory manually, the file was uploaded successfully.

We have this problem with multiple sites from different providers.

Thank you for the quick fix or help with the solution. Thank you.

    Best Regards.
    Michal

  • Hi Michal,

Thanks for reporting this bug – it’s actually one that we’re already aware of and are currently working on a fix. We hope that we’ll be able to patch it up in our next update. So sorry for the inconvenience!

As a workaround, please go to your dashboard > Media Library > Add New > add your file there. After this please go to Downloads > All downloads > edit or create a download > Downloadable Files/Versions > Media Library > choose your file > Publish/Update.
