Failed to write file to disk error message.

    I get this error when I try to upload XML files to transfer over entries from livejournal, and I also get it when I try to upload image files.

    Please help.

    I had this problem just now and managed to fix it. It has something to do with the temporary write directory. I didn’t have one set up in my php.ini. I set it to “/tmp” as I’m using my mac, and it worked perfectly.

    If your blog is hosted someplace else you might want to contact the hosting administrator.
