Thanks Lester for your reply. I emptied the cache. But the problem still exists with a new error message: Called Mail() without being connected
Hmm try other settings like PHP or Sendmail?
Hi, unfortunately, tried PHP and Sendmail. The error message is the same:
Called Mail() without being connected
I really don’t understand because the test email is fine.
Hi Lester, it’s working now. I left the field of SMTP server blank, which was what I did before in my previous sites. When I added localhost back, it’s working. Not sure why. May be it’s because I changed hosting company.
But I have another 2 questions for you:
1) How can I change the Remark box to be shorter by default? Right now, the whole pop-up box is very long. I am trying to shorten it.
2) Sometimes, when errors happened when in-puting the pop-up box (not sure exactly what), this is the error message: http://foodieinfo.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Untitled.jpg. Not sure if this will be improved in your next update.
Otherwise, I am very happy with your plugin. Thanks once again.
1) you can style the text box via css #yourremarks { height: 30px; }
2) That I think maybe be a browser issue, because the popup box is native.
where can I find this css file? I have been looking at many places and could not locate it. Thanks.
Ask your theme author? It really depends from theme to theme. Default is style.css in your theme folder.
Hi, I was referring to your pop-up box, not the theme css. I searched your plugin files and could only identify email-pop.php may possibly the right place. Will change the value of 50 to lower help making the Remarks box smaller? I really could not find #yourremark
var newHeight = content.offsetHeight + 50;
Thanks.
That code just make the popup window smaller not the remarks.
You are suppose to add #yourremarks { height: 30px; }
to your theme css. That code doesn’t exist anywhere
