    Hi @lucabarelli!

Thanks for getting in touch. That’s actually quite weird… Do you have the Nelio Content placeholder in your media library? If it isn’t, make sure that there’s writing permissions in uploads and refresh; our plugin should be able to add the placeholder there. If it’s already there, use a plugin such as Regenerate Thumbnails so that the requested size (1038×584) is available.

Does any of this fix the issue? You can also contact me via email and we can take a closer look at your issue.

Hi @davilera and thank you for your kind and prompt reply!

I did check uploads and there’s nc-efi-placeholder.png plus nc-efi-placeholder-100×50.png. Also writing permissions are there and everything is ok (I manage my VPS).
Please be aware that I’m using WP Performance Pack, a plugin that creates images on the fly (doesn’t write to disk, maybe it’s a fork of “aqua resize”?). It’s old (WP 4.2.2) and unsupported but I’ve fixed it somehow and it’s working.
Also I’m using Kleo, a commercial theme.

    This is what I see…

Some images have no problem. Others do. Inspector shows no issues.
Maybe some plugin is clashing with yours?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi!

Thanks for the info! So, yeah, it looks like our plugin added the placeholder in the media library as expected. The problem is something different: your theme is trying to load a specific thumbnail of that placeholder (I think the original size is 1920×1080) — it tries to load a 1038x584px thumbnail, but it doesn’t exist.

Please, download and install the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails and regerenerate the thumbnails of our placeholder. Let’s see if this plugin creates the missing image file. If it doesn’t, you can also try to create those thumbnails manually using GIMP or Photoshop (transparent PNG files).

    Hi David,

I’ve manually created the files (got regenerate thumbs) to no avail. At this point I presume there’s something wrong on my side.
I’ll get back on you as soon as I’ll have more info.
    Thank you for your time!
    Cheers,

    Hi David,
sorry but have been very busy lately. I’ll try to debug the whole demo site this weekend and see whether I can pinpoint the issue.
    Will keep you updated.
    Cheers,

    – Luca
