“Failed to load content css: http://(websitename).org.uk/wp-admin/”
I suddenly now get this message whenever I go to any post or page. It has a pink colour and can be closed. What does it mean?

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

    What theme are you using?
Did you recently update to WordPress 4.8?

The message means it is looking for a CSS resource that it cannot find. Can you post a link to the site in question? It is difficult to diagnose without seeing the code.

In any case, you can try checking your code to see if you have any “@import url” commands and verify that the addresses they are using are correct.

    Thanks for these.
    The site is beaconhillbenefice.org.uk
    It is updated to 4.8
The theme is Raindrops, recently updated (perhaps a problem there?)

    It is covered here also:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-4-8-editor-failed-to-load-content-css/

I raised it in the Randrops suport forum too.

Seems to be a WP4.8 problem.

I see no errors when looking at your site.
