Failed to install WordPress on Aruba

    I’m trying to install WordPress on an Aruba database and after creating the file wp_config.php I get this error message:
    WordPress database error Table 'Sql118454_5.wp_options' doesn't exist for query INSERT INTOwp_options…`

    I’m using a Windows Hosting on Aruba.

    I’m not exactly sure what an Aruba database is. WordPress supports only MySQL and MariaDB. https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Alternative_Databases

    A missing table indicates that the installation did not work correctly. Since you have no content, drop all tables in your database and let WP re-run the installation routine to create a new set of tables.

    same problem, trying to install wp on Windows hosting Aruba

    MySQL run correctly.
    I do not have tables in my database

    I solved it downloading a new wordpress.zip file (the italian version, actually) and changed the wp_ in the installation process. I wrote wp_7 (could be whatever number) and it worked seamlessly.

    I’m not sure I can really explain why.
