Failed to Import media (third party theme-uploading demo content)

I have installed a third party WordPress theme via Theme Trust.

I want my site to look like the demo theme so I have imported the demo .XML and have tried to import the demo content.

The .XML seems to import but the media fails to import.

This is the error message I get for the media

I have no other plugins installed.

The Theme support claimed that this was a permissions issue (so they cant really help). Through dreamweaver I then began to change. The “themes”, “wp-content” and “uploads folder” to 777 (under permissions).

I went to re-upload and still received the same error.

How can i fix this?
