Failed to import media

    Hi,

    I have this issue with WordPress Importer. Hope you can help.

    I have an existing WordPress server and just installed a new one.
    I want to move all content from the first one to the new one.
    I am running on both servers the latest version 4.8 of WP. I run also the same theme.
    On the first server I exported all content to an XML file.
    That XML file I have imported in the new WP server.
    All posts and so on get imported however not the media.

    Failed to import Media “hplogo”
    Failed to import Media “vellemanlogo”
    Failed to import Media “projectmanagement”
    Failed to import Media “sonos”
    Failed to import Media “intel”
    Failed to import Media “hardware”
    Failed to import Media “consultancy”
    Failed to import Media “cam”
    Failed to import Media “custom”

    And many more. The files on the original server are there.
    What am I doing wrong or miss?

    This is an issue of WordPress Importer. All the other .xml files are uploading correctly, but the media files didn’t work. I got the same issue in the beginning of this year. I uploaded every media file manually to my dashboard.

    Maybe there is a plugin from other developers to do the same thing as the WordPress Importer.
