Hi, I also facing the same problem with the latest v1.6.4 today.
Please help to fix it soon. I keep receiving this message – “Failed to import images from media library” while all the picture already available in my Media storage.

Can you please make sure that it is not a conflict with other plugins and Themes?
Please try to deactivate the rest of your plugins and check the gallery ordering. See whether the problem persists then as well.
Also, if possible, please temporarily switch the theme of your website and see if the issue occurs.
You can re-activate the plugins and change the theme back again after troubleshooting.
Please inform us of the results.

I have changed the theme and removed all other plugin except for Photo Gallery. Issue still remain even with only 1 Photo Gallery Plugin as it still can’t load my newly uploaded image today from my Media Library.

I am getting the same error. Prior version was working fine. V.1.6.4 auto updated and now I cant add any more images to the gallery.

I have requested the PHP error log from my hosting provider but I believe this will take some time. @kimabaghdasaryan In the meantime, is there any way I can revert Photo Gallery to the older version of V1.6.3? It was working fine previously before the update.
