    Hi,

I’m trying to add font awesome using a kit. After entering the API key i get the error “Failed to fetch kits”.

This also happens when trying to change the kit in use on sites that are currently already using a kit.

I’m experiencing the same issue on over 80 websites each using different plugins. The was not updated since yesterday when adding font awesome still worked. They all started acting up at the same time today and are spread across several hosts. I have activated debug mode but i’m not getting any extra info in the console.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I found a problem while investigating in my own development environment. Also I’ve also received another similar report.

The cause is almost certainly due to a change I released to the API server yesterday, from which this WordPress plugin retrieves metadata about kits.

This problem should not effect any existing configured kits (i.e. sites already configured to use a kit should not experience any interruption). This would also not effect any sites using the CDN configuration.

It only pertains to querying metadata about your kits when you’re switching from using CDN to Kits, or when you try to refresh your kits metadata in the admin page.

I’m working to release a fix to this plugin now. I expect it to be out within a few hours, if not sooner.

I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused!

I can confirm that existing configs still work. Thanks for the quick reply and quick (upcoming) fix!

This appears to be resolved now on the server. You should now be able to enter an API token to set up Kits and/or refresh Kits data from the admin page.

    Can you confirm?

Yes, seems to be working just fine now thanks!

Thank you. Glad to hear it’s working.

Also, I’m curious–with those 80 websites–are you using the WordPress Multisite / Network mode?

We’re using manageWP. I didn’t set them up so i don’t know the details.
