I have a customer that is having issues updating his plugins on his website. When he clicks on update it comes back with the following error,
Failed to connect to FTP Server etc etc:21
I did some research on this issue and kept seeing to trying using the local host name instead of the ip or actual website name. The customer was already using the hostname so we switched it up and tried the website address. It seemed like it was letting him and then came back and stated there's a problem with the websites xx.xx file, please contact your administrator etc..
We can't get it to get past that error at this point now.
How do we get this website back to normal so this guy can get back to work?
Edit: A little more Info:
We tried getting it to switch back to the login details that it was using the hostname vs. the website name but it seems like it's not letting us change the login host name, under the tools section..
Please help me with this one any one.
