Sending automatically get to a Pause state
“Sending has been paused due to a technical issue with PHPMail: Could not instantiate mail function. Unprocessed subscriber: (AAA <aaa@gmail.com>)

Please check your sending method configuration, you may need to consult with your hosting company.

The easy alternative is to send emails with MailPoet Sending Service instead, like thousands of other users do.

But in settings when I test my sending method all work absolutely fine! When I delete the email that is mentioned in the error above, the same error occurs but featuring another email from the list.

  • I’m having what I think is a similar problem:

Mailpoet is not sending an email to david@rebelravengames.com so that I can authorize this email address as my from address. How can this be fixed so that I get an email and then I can authorize this email address?

Everybody else can send to this email address, including MailerLite, and half a dozen board game manufacturers.

    Hi there @anovitskiy,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The error indicates an issue with PHPMail on your site. I’m not sure why the behaviour is not consistent with your test emails though.

Can you please reach out to your host to check if mail function works properly on your site?

    Hi there @anovitskiy,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
