Failed retrieving OAuth2 access token

    Hi,

    I’m trying to implement Mendeley plugin on my laboratory site. I’ve obtained Mendeley API client ID and API Client Secret, but when I click “request and authorize access token” in the Mendeley set up page, after the authentication on Mendeley site this error occurs on the plugin setup page:

    Failed retrieving OAuth2 access token: Received HTTP code 403 from proxy after CONNECT

    have anyone some solution?

    The Mendeley Access Token is blank and cannot be edited, it expires at 01.01.1970.

    I resolved the problem. I write the solution to who have the same issue.

    The problem was that my host (altervista.org) don’t allow all the HTTP connections. Is possible to unlock it in the “server to server” menù.
