Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
Do you still have the modification in your copy of TablePress?
What’s the file/URL that you want to import?
Regards,
Tobias
I do still have the modification in my copy of Tablepress.
The file that I want to import is an html page with a table in it. Before this it work flawlessly but once after the data number in the table grew larger once user start to fill in Tablepress seems fail to import the html page into tablepress
Hi,
can you send me the file so that I can take a direct look?
Regards,
Tobias
Hello Mr Tobias. I already send the file. Please kindly check. Thank you.
Hi,
thanks! I have received the files and will investigate this more!
Regards,
Tobias
Hi,
I now tested with both files you sent, by choosing File Upload with these files, and the HTML import format.
Everything went as expected, the tables were imported without any errors.
Are you sure that you still have the modification in the files?
Regards,
Tobias
yes I am sure Mr Tobias. I still have the modification in the files
Hi,
hhm, ok. And the import of the files using the Upload method is also not working?
If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!
Regards,
Tobias
Hi Mr Tobias. Yes, even import of the files using the Upload method also fail. The error said that “The source for the import is invalid or could not be accessed.” I would like to create an admin account for you but I dont think you can access it using other connection other than you need to connect with the connection in my place because the wordpress is set up locally in localhost within a single pc

Hi,
ah, yeah. Localhost access won’t work 🙁
Can you then maybe move this to a live server somewhere and try again there?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi. Does it means that Tablepress import function wont work properly if its in localhost?
Hi,
no, that’s not what I was saying. It definitely works on localhost as well.
It’s just not possible to debug this while the site is on localhost, because I can not access it.
Regards,
Tobias
Hello Mr Tobias. Ahh I see. If so, is there any chance that you are willing to remotely access the pc via for example teamviewer? I’m sorry if I’m asking too much from you.
Regards
Hi,
sorry, I’m afraid that this is not something that I can do, as I just don’t have the time and resources for that at the moment.
Regards,
Tobias
