# FAIL to embed twitter widget.

 * Hey guys!
 * For some reason, the native Twitter widgets won’t embed properly anymore. I am
   noticing this problem on both [http://www.vollmer.nl](http://www.vollmer.nl) 
   and [ allesruiktnaarchocola.nl](http://www.allesruiktnaarchocola.nl) even though
   both use different wordpress versions.
 * deactivating all the plugins makes no difference. It’s not theme related either.
   I’m guessing something’s wrong with an API, but have no clue where to go and 
   get help.
 * Maybe here?

 * Ah! Have you tried using a twitter plugin? If it’s for a single account feed,
   I’ve got a really lightweight Twitter plugin that uses Twitter’s own feed. Last
   I checked, that was working fine.

 * thanks for the effort, but that’s not an explanation, let alone a real solution.
 * I have something similar lightweight like that. But the twitter profile badge
   embedding doesn’t work. I want to use that. It’s far superior designwise.

 * I have. But it’s pot and kettle: it appears to be both a wordpress and a twitter
   issue: something’s wrong with either the sending of an API, or the receiving 
   of the API.
